When the heart catches even a glimpse of this amazing reality...

It is greatly comforted.

Since time began, more than ever, we need the reassurance of a loving God. He knew and predicted the times we are living in now. In this uncertain and pivotal time of history, God knew the cries of our hearts would be Peace! Peace!

Everything is moving too fast. We can barely keep up and catch our breath. Panic attacks are the new norm... and is it any wonder? Bad news from far and wide is being blasted at us non stop. We no sooner barely comprehend one horror, when another is breaking forth.

Fear and anger are rampant. That loss of control feeling keeps us just a little off balance. Truth, justice and fairness have fled away. Lies are so common place that now they are expected and we are constantly asked to suspend reality for the media's scripted storyline - no matter how improbable.

We know... that we know... this is not how life is supposed to be. Love, Joy, Peace, Gentleness and Kindness is how the world should work. I know it doesn't - but we all know and believe it should. It is innate within us that Truth and Justice should prevail and we should all be allowed to live and let live. Raise our families, love our neighbors and enjoy the amazing beauty of this Earth. Every child knows this! Then why can't life be just that?

Because...

God's kingdom is not in this world.

But fear not! His kingdom has not yet been established here...However, God is near! Even at the door. Your door. The door of your heart. You have heard Him knock. He does not pound on the door demanding to get in. He does not use a SWAT team to throw you down to get your attention.

No, He quietly taps and whispers Love and Truth to your heart. He is there even now. He is patient and will wait for you...but you have to be still and listen...

The noise and tumult of this world is designed to keep us from paying attention to this still small voice. For if you were to listen and open your door you would be forever changed and this world's system would lose a citizen.
